Donald D. Wiefling, 80, of Butler passed away on March 14, 2019 at his home. Born August 5, 1938 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of Joseph Wiefling and Katherine Holmes Wiefling. Don worked as a Electrician for IBEW Local #5 retiring in 2001.

He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption R.C. Church in Herman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, farming, motorcycles and boating. Surviving are wife, Geraldine Wiefling whom he married April 8, 1961, his children, Brian (Laurie) Wiefling, Robert (Lorri) Wiefling, Bradley Wiefling and Bridgette (Mark Schiesser) Wiefling, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Robert Wiefling, Leon Wiefling, Alvin Wiefling and sisters, Shirley Klingensmith and Marilyn Moran Visitation will be held Saturday, March 16 from 1-3 pm at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. St. Mary of the Assumption Church with Fr. Ward Stakem officiating.
