Donald M. Day, age 77 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Saturday, February 9th at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be 1:PM Monday, February 11th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Elrod and Rev.

Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11:AM until 1:PM Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers include Brandon Singleton, Chris Wood, Corey Ivey, Johnny Owens, Bryan Williams, Colby Abernathy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold Day, Ron Money, D.C. Cox, Phillip Abernathy, Jim St Clair, Donnie Chandler, Jack Morrison, Andrew Ward. Survivors include his wife, Wanda L. Morrison Day; daughters, Brandi Jo Day (Joe) King of Birmingham, Nicki Day (Jeff) Hale of Leesburg; sister, Margie Ann Day Womack of Centre; grandchildren, Anna Hale, Jacob King, Jillian King; several nieces & nephews. Mr. Day was a native of Etowah County, the son of the late Willie Mert and Dora Lee Prater Day and was a member of Union Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Union Methodist Church.
