Obituary for Mr. Donald Dean Richmond Richmond – Donald Dean Richmond, age 68, of Lake City, Florida passed away at his son’s home in Sanderson, Florida on July 23, 2018. He was born November 26, 1949 in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Richard Eugene Richmond and Cora Ethel Sundquest. Don has been a resident of Lake City since 1989.

Early on Don was an officer with the Jacksonville Police Department. He later began a long-time career as an electronics technician on radio equipment. When not working Don enjoyed hunting, tinkering on all sorts of projects, and spoiling his grandsons.

He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Tom Richmond and Jerry Richmond. Don is survived by his children, Kasey (Margot) Richmond of Glen St. Mary, FL, Kenny Richmond of FL, and Kris Richmond of FL; brother, John Richmond of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Collin and Paul Richmond. A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hills Memory Gardens in Jacksonville, FL.
