Services for Don Wimberly, 92, Owner of a local Nursery, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Lacy Funeral Home with Brother Frank Briscoe officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Mill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Don was born in Erath County on September 30, 1926 to Elmo Wimberly and Katie Moore Wimberly. He married Edith Wimberly on December 26, 1946, in Morgan Mill, Texas. Don was a member of the Hillcrest Church of Christ in Stephenville, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Edith Wimberly, one child, Sue Grams and husband Leroy of Imperial, NE; three grandchildren, Scott Grams and wife Amye of Kearney, NE, Melisa Salter and husband, Jim of Grand Island, NE, Wendy Taggart and husband Paul of Tomball, TX, nine great-grandchildren, Seth Salter, Brittney Salter, Cameron Grams, Haley Grams, Jackson Taggart, Sara Taggart, Connor Taggart, Emily Taggart and Logan Taggart.
