Services for Floyd Holt Stokes, 78, Farmer/Rancher, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Lacy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken May officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 9, at Lacy Funeral Home.

Floyd was born in Gorman, Texas on June 20, 1940 to William Dale Stokes and Beatrice (Wiley) Stokes. Floyd married Wiley Jean (Wright) Stokes on June 27, 1959 in Downing, Texas. Floyd was a member of First Baptist Church, Stephenville.

Survivors include wife, Jean Stokes of Stephenville; sons Floyd Wiley Stokes and wife Kelly of Stephenville and David Stokes of Stephenville; five grandchildren Stephanie Cervetto, Joseph Stokes, Clayton Stokes, Cole Stokes, Sheridan Stokes; sister, Margaret Lester of Brownwood; brother-in-law, Billy Neil McDaniel of De Leon and Durlyn Stokes; four great grandchildren, Lane Stokes, Luke Stokes, Leah Stokes and Caroline Cervetto as well as several nieces and nephews.
