Donny Wright, the son of J.D. and Gracie Wright, entered into Heaven’s gate on June 9, 2018. He was raised in Mississippi and moved to Arkansas in 1986. He loved God, his family, the outdoors, his motorcycles, playing his guitars, and constantly striving for more knowledge.

He lived a fulfilling life of helping others and serving God. He had many accomplishments, including but not limited to, his dual bachelor’s degree from Harding University in Bible and Social Work, Masters of Social Work from UALR, and PHD in Divinity from Hawaii. His most recent accomplishment was becoming the founder of Life Recovery Center, which he housed and operated out of his personal home.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, J.D. and Gracie Wright of Fulton, Mississippi, two sons; Jonathan and Jeremy Wright both of Mooreville, Mississippi, a non-biological brother; Tee Cardin of Tupelo, Mississippi. He is survived by his two children and five grandchildren, Levi and Krystal Wright, their daughters Hillary and Hadley, of Higginson; Selah and Nathan Neal, their sons Nate and Layton Neal, of Heber Springs, Arkansas; and McKenzie Wright, daughter of Jonathan Wright of Tupelo, Mississippi; as well as thousands of friends and extended family. Every single person’s thoughts and prayers are eternally appreciated.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, June 16th at The Otherside (formally Complete In Christ Church) 3390 Hwy 36, Searcy, Arkansas 72143 There will be a final ride from the Otherside to his home in Searcy following the service followed by a Balloon release.
