Frey, 83, of Allentown, died Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Shirley P. (Reehle) Frey to whom he was married 61 years. Born in South Whitehall Township, March 14, 1935, Donald was the son of the late Henry O. D. Sr. and Mildred A. (Dottery) Frey.

He was employed as a vending machine supervisor for Pepsi in Allentown for 44 years before retiring in 1999. An automobile enthusiast, Donald was a member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife; children, Debra E. Hontz and her husband, Keith of Whitehall, Bonnie L. Bartek and her husband, Brian of Allentown, Shane M. Frey and his wife, Tina of Allentown; siblings, Francis C. Frey of Allentown, Dale H. Frey of Delaware, David H. Frey of Allentown, Barbara Mauer, Lois M. Druckenmiller, Lillian E. Kemmerly all of Bethlehem, Lola Ruth Smith of Kutztown; six grandchildren; one great granddaughter.

Service: Private. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
