Donald’s Obituary Donald Lee McNeal, 81, of Springboro, formerly of Chillicothe, died 11:30 am, Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg. He was born July 31, 1937 in Chillicothe to the late Donald and Beatrice Brown McNeal. On September 12, 1958 he married Shirley A. True McNeal, who survives.

Also surviving are his three children, Donald L. McNeal, Dayton, Terri (James) Gainey, Ellicott, MD, and Kelli Snyder, Dayton; five grandchildren, Nathan and Olivia Gainey, and Emily, Mitchell and Audrey Snyder; and two brothers, Michael (Lynn) and Jan (Martha) McNeal. Donald was a Captain in the United States Air Force. He retired as the Vice-President of Human Res from Mead Paper Company.

During his time with Mead, he and his wife relocated 15 times, finishing up their journey with the Chilpaco Mill, here in Chillicothe. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, and upon moving to Springboro, began attending the Springboro Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday, February 18, 2019 at Trinity United Methodist Church, where a military tribute by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will be held.

The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Honor Flight Program, Dayton, Attn: Al Bailey, 200 Canary Ct. , Enon, OH 45323.
