Obituary for Donald Love Donald Wayne Love of Loveland, Co was born in Logan, New Mexico on November 22, 1927 to Stella and Ralph Love. He was the sixth of ten children. He attended school in Logan, NM and then joined the United States Marine Corps and served in China for 18 months.

On November 11, 1948 he married Mary Jean Osborn in Logan, NM. Don joined the Iron Workers Union, Local #24 OF Denver, Colorado in 1948. He worked on many large construction jobs across the state of Colorado including dams, power houses, many steel structures and the Air Force Academy to name a few.

Don retired in 1985. Don enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he and Jean loved traveling together. Don was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following all the teams.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jean and is survived by two daughters, Donna Jean Evans of Owasso, OK and Marilyn Joy Uhrich and husband, Bruce, of Fort Collins, CO; four grandsons, Chris and Brad Evans of Owasso, OK, Bryan and Ben Uhrich of Fort Collins, CO; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Clifford Love; one sister Janet Bradshaw; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Visitation at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland will be held Sunday, June 3 from 4-6 pm.
