Donald “Paul” Zbierajewski, age 87, passed away on October 15, 2018. He was born on February 9, 1931 in Toledo, Ohio. Paul proudly served his country in Korea during the Korean War in the United States Army and was a past member of the Catholic War Veterans.

Paul worked in the press room at the Toledo Blade, retiring after 45 dedicated years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, was an avid Notre Dame fan, and he loved to travel. Paul was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rose; his father, Joseph Sr.; and brother, Joseph Jr

He will be dearly missed by his children, Marcia (Chuck) Martin, Donald (Judy) Zbierajewski, David (Julie) Zbierajewski and Amy Campbell; grandchildren, Chuck and Paul Martin, Jaime (Kevin) Taylor, Kristin (Ted Bell) Zbierajewski, Samantha (Mike) Banning, Matthew and Rachel Zbierajewski, and Courtney Campbell; great grandchildren, Leah Eischeid, Adeline and Cora Taylor; brother, Richard (Virginia) Zbierajewski; and many extended family and friends. Family and friends may visit on Friday from 2-8:00 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 with a prayer service in the mortuary at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns Church.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial tributes may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
