Donald Potts, 65, of Ambridge, died Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born December 13, 1953 in McKees Rocks, to the late Donald and Patricia (Barr) Potts. He worked on the river barges many years for C&C Marine and Georgetown Sand and Gravel.

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were four brothers, Jeff, Eugene, Tom and Craig Potts and two sisters, Kelly Alsko and Nancy Levato. He is survived by his wife, Julia Hedzik Potts, two daughters, Trisha Potts and her fiance Nick Sittig of Center Township, Pamela Potts of Coraopolis, stepdaughter, Cherie Dreyer, grandchildren, Lacey Sittig, Brianne Dreyer, and Noah Clendenen, three sisters, Milissa (Tim) Causey of Baden, Trish (Bob) Neiman of Harmony Twp. , Carol Salopek of Ambridge, three brothers, Ken Potts of Ambridge, Regis (Maria) Potts of McKees Rocks, Bruce Potts of Coraopolis, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 2:00PM until time of memorial service at 3:30 PM in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the family.
