Donald R. Brouhard August 30, 1945 – March 14, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book Donald R. Brouhard; of Clarkston; age 73; March 14, 2019. Donald is the loving husband of the late Minerva; loving father of John (Regina) Brouhard, Shawn Brouhard, Andrew Brouhard, Carlos (Chelsea) Scott and the late Joshua Brouhard; loving grandfather of seven and one on the way; and loving great grandfather of two. He is also the loving brother of Henry Guitterez, Rex Graybill and the late Frank Macy.

Donald was a decorated Vietnam Veteran serving two tours and receiving several service medals such as the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Two Overseas Service Bars and an Expert Rifle Medal. He was also a dedicated employee of 45 years at General Motors where he worked as a toolmaker and often brought his kids with him to learn the trade. He was a very skillful carpenter who built his own homes and even homes of his friends.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, helping friends, keeping busy, and most importantly he loved his family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at 3pm at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion with visitation from 1pm until the time of service.
