Quinn, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2019 surrounded by loved ones, after battling cancer for many months. Don was born in Philadelphia and raised in Warrington, PA. He joined the United States Army and served stateside as a heavy equipment operator during the Vietnam conflict in the 76th Engineer Battalion in Fort Meade, MD.

He worked for RELTEC Communications as an installer and moved quickly to become a Regional Safety/Logistics Coordinator. With his love of motorcycling, he then moved to Florida and was employed by the Flagler County Department of Public Works. He was an asset in the fight against the wildfires in 1998.

Don moved back to New Jersey in 2000 and was employed by Priority Solutions, as well as many other companies, as a tractor-trailer driving delivering supplies all along the East coast. His last job was with RPC in Pennsauken delivering drivetrains and parts. He worked until the day before his cancer operation in 2017.

Don was a respected and beloved Friend of Bill’s and enjoyed continuous sobriety since December of 1975. He never failed to reach out his hand to someone that was struggling and was not shy about voicing his opinion when it came to getting and staying sober. He will be missed by many.

Don is survived by his devoted wife of 16 years, Elizabeth (nee Keenan). Also surviving are four children and three grandchildren. Friends are invited to a viewing and celebration of Don’s life at the Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede on Saturday, January 26th from 9am to 11am.

Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment private at the request of the family. We have asked that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.
