Obituary for Donald William Kiest Donald William Kiest, age 52, of Dayton, died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was born December 13, 1965 in Naperville, IL, to the late Robert F. Kiest and Leona Isabelle (Darmolsalski) Kiest. Don was also preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Kiest.

Don lived in Dayton for many years where he was a welder at Suburban Manufacturing for twenty years. Don was a collector of sports memorabilia, a huge Chicago Bears fan and of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Arlene (Maddux) Kiest of Dayton; his children, CariAnn Locke of Oklahoma City, OK, KristaLee Meadows, Michelle Meadows, Adam Meadows, Andrew Meadows and Luke Meadows all of Dayton; five grandchildren; brothers, Ken (Mimi) Kiest of Deland, FL, Dave (Janet) Kiest and Devin Kiest both of Dayton; sisters, Donna Kiest of Georgia and Donna Lee (Gary) Keith of Dayton.

The Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 12:00 noon at Saint Bridget Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Sam Sturm as celebrant.
