Donna Nordean, 82, Two Harbors, died Monday September 3, 2018 at Ecumen Scenic Shores. Donna was born June 27, 1936 to Harry and Mildred (Wiehe) Lofgren in Hibbing. On August 1, 1959 she married John W. Nordean in Aitkin, and later they moved to Two Harbors where they raised their family.

Donna was employed by the City of Aitkin in the Light and Water office, and later Sonju Motors and Two Harbors Federal Credit Union until her retirement in 2001. Donna’s greatest joy was time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, visiting relatives, camping with her family, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, and just watching them grow up.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband John in 1983, her parents, a sister, Judith Arnold; a brother-in-law, Robert Nordean; a niece, Cheryl Seykora; and a nephew, Dale Nordean. She is survived by her children, Karen (Kevin) Morsette, Jeff (Sandy) Nordean, and Greg (Patty) Nordean; grandchildren, Mike, Chad, Andrew, Casey, Kate, Abbie and Jesse; great-grandchildren, Axel, Hudson, and Henry; brother, Warren (Ruth) Lofgren; sister-in-law, Doris Nordean; brother-in-law, Thomas Arnold; and nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the 11 AM service on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Two Harbors.
