Donna Sue Russell, 76, passed away March 20, 2019 at Lakeview Christian Home. Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2019 at First Church of the Nazarene with Chris Nikkel officiating. Donna Sue was born July 20, 1942 in Dexter, NM to Donald Jake and Johnnie Pauline (Wallace) Atchley.

She graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1961. Donna Sue and John owned and operated K-Bob’s Steakhouse for several years. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Donna Sue enjoyed painting and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jody Don Brittain. Survivors are her husband, John H. Russell; daughter, Lora Lynn Brittain; stepson, John Kyle Russell; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; brothers: Mitchell Atchley of Cross Plains, Texas and Larry Atchley of Abilene, Texas; sisters: Mary Jo Johns of Phoenix, Arizona, Phyllis Morales of Silver City, NM and numerous nieces and nephews.
