Doris E. Layton, 75, Johnstown, died April 20, 2018 at home. Born July 2, 1942, in Johnstown, daughter of Francis and Irene (Custer) Pattison. Preceded in death by parents; son-in-law, Doug Gorman; and step sons, Gregg and Larry Layton.

Survived by husband, Larry; children, Steven (Sandy), Taiwan; Paul (Emily); and Pamela Gorman, all of Johnstown; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She was the sister of Tom Pattison (Linda), Johnstown. She was a member of Park Ave.

United Methodist Church. Doris was the former treasurer of the Retired Nurses, and the founder of the local chapter of Al-Anon. She was a retired Supervisor of the Emergency Dept.

at Conemaugh Hospital. Friends received Tuesday from 11am until time of memorial service at 1pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. , with Rev.

John Weaver officiating. Inurnment, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
