Doris Faye Baeder, 76, of Hazel Green, went to be with the Lord on Saturday morning while surrounded by her loving family. Doris worked as a hairdresser for 50+ years and also worked at Big Spring Manor. She loved spending time with her friends, working in her yard and her flowers, fishing with her son, traveling with her late husband, and was a member of the Red Hat Society.

She was a faithful Christian and was part of East Huntsville Church of Christ for over twenty years until becoming a member of Shiloh Church of Christ after the death of her husband in 2015. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Ted A. Baeder Sr; Her parents, Lloyd & Bertha Sullivan; Her sisters: Betty Franklin, Vera Thomas, and Karley “Kat” Moody.

Surviving family members include her daughter, Donna Hammack; Her son and daughter-in-law, Ted “Teddy” Baeder and his wife, Tammy; Her niece who was like a daughter to her, Jeanie Doran and her husband, Wayne; Her grandchildren: Lauren Baeder, Trey Baeder, James Hammack, and Thomas Hammack; Her sister and brother-in-law, Sue & Justin Satterfield; The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5 until 8pm at Hazel Green Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1pm at the funeral home with Bro. Jack Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Stateline Cemetery in Hazel Green. Hazel Green Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
