Doris Hulse August 15, 1930 – February 08, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Doris Hulse 88, of Decatur passed away Friday February 8, 2019 at her residence. She was born August 15,1930 in Gary, Indiana to Jack and Grace Boswell. She was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was in the Ladies Fellowship Sunday School Class which she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Buck Boswell, Bill Boswell and Jim Boswell also her husband of 65 years Harvey Glen Hulse. She is survived by three sons, Randy Hulse, Ronald Hulse and Russell Hulse; one daughter, Kathi Sherwood also numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren: also her pets Mia the Pug and Molly the Rescue Dog. Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 2019 from 1:00pm until 3:00pm at Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home followed by a 3:00pm Chapel service with Reverend Brian Blass officiating.

Burial will follow at Burningtree Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Sherwood, Jeff Sherwood, Brandon Hulse, Erik Hulse, Matthew Mooneyham, Taylor Hulse and Zach Tidwell. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made the The Building Fund at Central Baptist Church in Mrs. Hulse’s memory.

Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
