Doris’ Obituary Doris M. (Miller) Caruso, 88, of Millbury Passed away January 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Doris was born in Worcester, the daughter of Arthur and Mary Miller. She grew up in Worcester.

In 1952, she married the love of her life for the next 64 years, Peter Caruso. Together they settled in Millbury to raise their family and have been there ever since. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Beaucage and her husband Randy; a son Peter Caruso and his wife Gail all of Millbury; 5 grandchildren, Peter A. Caruso, Jr. and his wife Mallory, Timothy Caruso, Michael A. Caruso, Sr, Stephanie (Beaucage) Donoghue, Matthew Beaucage and his wife Kristin; 6 Great-Grandchildren, Michael Jr, Finley, Sophia, Isabella, Linnaea, and Remy; Doris also leaves two brothers Francis Miller and Robert Miller; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Harold, Paul, and, Richard Miller. She worked many years and retired in 1982. Doris loved spending time with her family, bowling, playing cards, board games and was best known for her home-cooked meals without recipes.

She devoted herself to her husband, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She leaves a legacy of love, selflessness, devotion to always putting family first. She enjoyed the many annual family vacations and just enjoyed taking Sunday drives with her husband wherever the road would take them.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Tuesday, January 15th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 16th from the funeral home with a procession to Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Rd where her celebration of Christian burial mass will be held at 10:30 am. Burial next to her husband will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St Jude Children’s Research hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis Tenn.
