Doris Ruth (Ross) Yaros, 89 of Center Township passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019. She was born April 17, 1929 in Washington, PA , the daughter of the late Clayton and Alice (Gregg) Ross. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley J. Yaros, their son Mark Yaros and a sister Betty.

Doris attended Washington High School and graduated from Trinity High School in 1946. Doris was a faithful member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, The Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and 50 plus club. She enjoyed music and camping, sang in the church choir and cantered.

Doris also sang with Voices for all seasons, Beaver Valley Choral Society and taught line dancing at C.C.B.C. She retired from Center Township Municipal Office as a secretary.

Doris is survived by her grandsons. Shawn, Mark and Jason who she was so proud of. Eight great grandchildren: Austin, Ashlee, Jade, Sheylee, Emma, Amira, Zeric and Kayzic and a great-great granddaughter Aurori.

At Doris’s request there will not be any public visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in St. Frances Cabrini Church. Interment will take place at Sylvania Hills Cemetery.
