Roberta Ann Dravenstott, 80, of Raccoon Twp. , passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019 after a long fought battle with Alzheimer’s. She was born and raised in Grayson, KY, a daughter of the late Bona and Mabel (Rutherford) Rucker.

Roberta was a kind and gentle soul whose smile lit up the room. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church, she worked for Frontier Fruit and Nut Company and she retired from the bakery at Giant Eagle.

In addition to her parents, Roberta was preceded in death by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Phyllis and Gomez ( June) Porter, John Dravenstott, Charlene and Jim Smith, Frank Kiger and Randy Rice, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Juanita Dravenstott, and granddog Sidney who has been waiting for her for 14 years. Roberta is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, James Dravenstott, cherished son, Rodney Dravenstott and his wife Beth, two sisters Bonnie Kiger and Mary Lou Rice, sister in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Joe McDavid, and life-long friends, Dreema and Jim Adams and Tina and Boots Stidham and her granddog, Lilly. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Beaver Elder Care and Vitas Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Per her wishes, there will be no viewing and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made, if desired, to the Beaver County Humane Society, 3394 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa, PA 15001.
