Linda Weese, 57, of Clinton, passed away with her loving family by her side on February 24, 2019, after a long battle with COPD. She was born April 27, 1961, in Allegheny County. Linda was the daughter of Harold Weese and Louise Hill.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Peggy Pounds, Lucy Weese, Connie Connor, Irene Weese and Ruthann Weese. Linda worked as a Certified Nurse’s Aide for several years at the Beaver Medical Center and nursing homes. She always took pride in her job and the people that worked with her described the love that she had for her patients, the compassion and the empathy that she would show.

Linda was quite adventurous and loved the outdoors, playing games and spending time with her loved ones. She is survived by her loving children, Rob Katus (Stephanie Laneve) and Ashley Katus (Terry Schneider). Linda was also known as NaNa by her three grandchildren, Taylor, Chase and Parker.

She loved her family, but it was time spent with her grandchildren that brought her the greatest joy. Linda is also survived by her siblings, Larry (Jennifer) Hill, Pam Boring, Ike Hill and Sandy (Ken) Bucklen and their children, Marissa and Shane Bucklen, who Linda was very close to. She also had countless generations of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019, from 2 p.m. until time of service at 3:30 p.m. in the ANTHONY MASTROFRANCESCO FUNERAL HOME INC. , 2026 McMinn St., Aliquippa, 724-375-0496. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Linda, to the COPD foundation 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd.

, Miami, FL 33134 or www. copdfoundation.org. Although Linda was unable to receive the lung transplant she needed and her life was too brief, she chose to be an organ donor, which was her way of continuing to help others.
