Doris’ Obituary DORIS SCHILLING, 98, Baraboo, WI, formerly Dakota and Orangeville, Il, passed away January 16, 2019, at Meadow Ridge Assisted Living, Baraboo. She was a Leap Year baby, born in Chicago, February 29, 1920. She is survived by daughters Susan Schadewaldt and Karen Schilling, Baraboo, son Kurt (Charlotte) Schilling, Orangeville, grandchildren Kristin (Jim) Terry, Baraboo, Ericka Schilling, Orangeville, and Jason (Theresa) Schilling, Aurora, IL, and five great-grandchildren.

Her family was her pride and joy, and reason for living. Doris enjoyed getting together with friends and family, having parties, setting a pretty table, cross-word puzzles, playing cards, Scrabble, and Rummikub, decorating cakes, camping, and traveling. She retired from Crum & Forester, Freeport.

Doris was preceded in death by her son Mark, (1966) and her husband, Alfred (1987). A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Sat. , Jan.

26, 2019, at the Dakota-Rock Grove Methodist Church. A luncheon will follow. Interment of cremains will be at Dakota Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Dakota-Rock Grove Methodist Church, or Agrace Foundation. The family wishes to thank the Meadow Ridge and Agrace staff for their loving attention and care.
