On September 13, 2018, Doris T. LeBlanc Bisson (Dubuc) age 88, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away. Doris was born on February 13, 1930 in Biddeford, Maine to Joseph and Sophrenie (Lambert) Dubuc. Doris graduated from St. Andre, class of 1949.

In 1951, Doris married Charles E. LeBlanc and together they adopted their daughter, Charlene A. (LeBlanc) Dubois. Together, the family spent their free time camping at Ossipee Lake. Doris enjoyed spending time in the kitchen baking, playing games with family and friends, bird watching, dancing and caring for her large tiger cat, Oliver.

Doris was always willing to help friends and family any way she could and always had the most beautiful smile on her face. Her love for children, especially her grandbabies, was something she took pride in. Anytime spent with her grandchildren was time she forever cherished.

On November 11, 1979, Charles E. Leblanc unexpectedly passed away. In addition to her husband, Doris joins her brothers, Raymond Dubuc and Leo Dubuc, her sister, Rita Dubuc Vehorn, and her grandson Dylan Dubois. Doris is survived by her daughter Charlene A. L. Dubois and her husband Donald R. Dubois, their children Matthew Dubois, Kalena Carroll and husband Nathan Carroll, Ashley Tripp and husband Jeremy Tripp, Donald Dubois, two great-grandchildren, Elanna Carroll and James Tripp and several nieces.

A public service will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, 120 West St., Biddeford on Monday, 9/24 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund has been set up for donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in honor of Doris and her love for children. Please visit giftfunds.
