Mrs. Doris M. Waltman, age 76, of Mt. Vernon Homes, Boaz died on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Marshall Medical Center South. A Private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Waltman was born in Franklin County, Alabama on February 10, 1943 to Brice & Kathryn Miller Newton. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Waltman is survived by her Sons: George Billy McClellan, Gary Wayne McClellan and Dennis Ray Spann all of Boaz, Daughters: Cynthia Darlene Bridgers and Reba Jewel Stephens both of Boaz, 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Brothers: Jerald Wayne Newton of Allgood, Willie Jay Newton, Gregory Pat Newton both of Oneonta and Larry Newton of Texas.
