Doris’ Obituary Doris Yeoman, 78, of McCune, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Her death was unexpected. She was born on January 19, 1941, in Parsons to Donald and Bertha (Campbell) Gray.

Growing up in Parsons, she graduated from Labette County High School in 1958. Doris first began working at Sunflower Sales and later at Parsons State Hospital and Training Center. Then she worked for Drs.

Dillon, Mosier and Meister at the Southeast Kansas Orthopedic Clinic for over 20 years before retiring. On May 7, 1960, Doris and Pat D. Yeoman were married. They later divorced.

An accomplished pianist and accordion player, Doris taught piano lessons. She was also talented at cross-stitch, winning awards at the Presbyterian Manor Art Show. Doris liked the outdoors and camping.

Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors Include: Three Sons – Pat “Doug” Yeoman, Jr. and his wife, Leslie, of McCune, KS Randy Yeoman and his wife, Karla, of Little Rock, AR Brad Yeoman of Cherryvale, KS Two Daughters – Debbie Nash and her husband, LeRoy, of Galesburg Lesle Jarboe and her husband, Trenton, of Oswego Fourteen Grandchildren Eleven Great-Grandchildren Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 20, 2019, at the Forbes-Hoffman Funeral Home in Parsons. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Following the service, cremation will take place and burial will be in the Oswego Cemetery.
