Obituary of Doris Roussey Doris A. (Dawson) Roussey, 89, of Pottstown, PA passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. She was the wife of the late Vernon Roussey with whom she shared 35 years of marriage. Born on April 27, 1929, Doris was the daughter of the late William and Mary (Morgan) Dawson.

Doris was a hard worker and was able to work until she was 84. She always thought of her family, friends, and coworkers before herself. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by one son, Gregory Hoffmaster, husband of Lora, Pottstown, PA; four stepchildren, Ronald Roussey, Susan Roebuck, Timothy Roussey, and Gail Bails; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and friends. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by one daughter, Robin Floyd; and nine brothers and sisters. Viewings will take place on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, June 25, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464.

A Life Celebration will take place on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Doris’ memory to the TriCounty Active Adult Center at tricountyaac.org.
