Obituary for Dorothea “Dottie” Chagnon (Rounds) Kennebunk Dorothea Mae “Dottie” Chagnon, 77, of Kennebunk, died Saturday afternoon, August 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Lynn, MA on January 1, 1941, a daughter of Charles Stephen Rounds III and Verne Mae (Vaughn) Rounds. She grew up in Lynn, MA, and graduated from Lynn Classical High School.

She then attended Burdett School of Business in Boston. Dottie worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses over the years. In her earlier years, Dottie enjoyed bowling, cooking, knitting and crocheting, reading, playing Bingo, and dancing (which was a huge part of her life).

She also loved visiting the casino when able. She was also a proud member of the Lyons Club, and the Red Hatters Society. She is predeceased by her first husband, Alphonse Serozynski, Jr.; and her second husband Chester Covey, and her third husband Arthur Joseph Chagnon.

Dottie is survived by her six children, Tammy Spinale and her husband Michael Spinale of Lynn, MA, Scott Steven Serozynski and his wife Cheryl Serozynski of Ossipee, NH, Cheryle Conroy of Ossipee, NH, William Albert Serozynski and his wife Beverly Serozynski of Westerville, OH, Ronald Steven Serozynski and his partner Dyan Katz of Wrentham, MA, Tiffany Lynne Covey and her husband Rhett Yule of Center Barnstead, NH; her brother, Ronald Stephen Rounds and his wife Cynthia of Wells, ME; her sister, Charlene Linda Perry of Alfred, ME; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., with prayers and memories shared at 3:30 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer Street, Kennebunk.
