Dorothy Belt, 94, of Henley, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at her residence in Henley, Missouri. She was born April 18, 1924 in Mystic, Iowa the daughter of the late Leo Blaine and Dora (Canfield) Blaine Hysell. On April 24, 1943 in Princeton, Missouri she was united in marriage to Lloyd August Belt who preceded her in death on April 1, 1987.

Survivors include, Sons, Lloyd Belt, Jr. (Sally) of Henley, MO; Larry Belt of Henley, MO; Richard Belt (Sue) of Jefferson City, MO Daughter, Wilma Engelbrecht (Lloyd) of Henley, MO Brother, Harold Hysell (Earnestine) of Corydon, IA Two Sisters in law, Eldora Blaine of IA, Nelma Hysell of IA Eleven Grandchildren; Nineteen Great Grandchildren & Seven Great Great Grandchildren Many Nieces & Nephews A daughter in law, Janice Belt, a sister in law, Charlotte Hysell and three brothers, Hillus Blaine, Bob Hysell and Elmer Hysell preceded her in death. Visitation will be Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Burial immediately following at Hickory Hill Cemetery in Hickory Hill, MO.

Memorials in her name are suggested to the Show Me Christian Youth Home in LaMonte, MO. Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
