Obituary for Dorothy Elizabeth Harper Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Harper, age 95 of Mayfield, Ky passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 3:05 AM at the Calvert City Convalescent Center. She was a member of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church in Marshall County, and was a retired seamstress from the former Curlee Clothing Company. Mrs. Harper is survived by her two daughters- Dorthella Phillips of Mayfield, Ky and Rose P. Martin of Brookport, IL; one son- Michael Simpson Pitman of Hickory, Ky; one brother- Bobby Joe Harris of Mayfield, Ky; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild also survives.

She was preceded in death by her three husbands- 1st – Mitchell Shelby Pitman, 2nd -Ernest Brooks, 3rd- Marion Scott Harper; one son- William Grant Pitman; sister- Anna Mae Harris; brother- Charles William Harris; parents- Robert Simpson & Willie Pauline Sanderson Harris. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky with Rev. Robert Chandler officiating.

Burial will follow in the North Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-8 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky.
