Dorothy G. Klingensmith, 98, of Washington Twp. , formerly of Leechburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at QLS West Haven Manor in Washington Twp. A daughter of the late Francis John Klingensmith and Nellie (Peppler) Klingensmith, she was born October 8, 1920, in Leechburg, PA.

Dorothy was a 1938 graduate of Leechburg High School, a homemaker and member of Hebron Evangelical Lutheran Church in Leechburg. She enjoyed bird watching and vegetable and flower gardening. Survivors include her cousin, Geraldine Wilds and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Harold R. Klingensmith; and a sister Mildred M. Klingensmith. There will be no public visitation. Graveside services and interment will be held at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, Dec.

18, at Evergreen Cemetery in Gilpin Twp. with the Rev. James V. Arter III officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Clawson Funeral & Cremation Center, 170 Main Street, Leechburg (724-842-1051).
