Dorothy Hughes Keown, age 92, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. She was born on January 13, 1927, in Dallas, GA, to the late Claude & Frankie Hughes, and was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Keown, and brothers, Earl and Ray Hughes. Mrs. Keown was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son, Jerry (Neysa) Keown of Dallas, GA; sister, Avanell Hulsey of Rockmart, GA; grandchildren Blake (Kristie) Keown and Barry Keown; great-grandchildren, Hannah Keown, Lily Keown, Gatlin Keown, Grayson Keown and Gage Crawford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at 1 PM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Jimmy Tibbitts, Pastor Troy White, and Pastor Thomas Garner officiating. Interment will follow in Smyrna United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Jerry Keown, Barry Keown, Blake Keown, Jimmy Hughes, Thomas Garner and Orell Garner will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 12, 2019, from 5 PM until 8 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, was in charge of the arrangements.
