Dorothy’s Obituary Dorothy I. Ware, 80, of Martinsburg, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2019, with her family by her side, at Inova Fairfax Hospital, Virginia. Born April 15, 1939 in Harpers Ferry, WV, she was the daughter of the late Howard Lester Ware and Emma N. M. Crum Ware. Dorothy graduated from Charles Town High School in 1957.

She worked at BB&T in Martinsburg, retiring in 1993. She is survived by two daughters, Trina L. Dunn (Donald) of Summit Point, WV and Tracey L. Lewis of Bunker Hill, WV; son, Creighton R. Propps II (Vanessa) of Inwood, WV; seven grandchildren, Howard D. Dunn, John P. Dunn, Kasandra L. Braitman, Creighton R. Propps III, Duane W. Lewis, Tiffany A. Scarlet and Travis C. Chapman; seven great-grandchildren, Tyler Braitman, Jacob Goshorn, Cullen Propps, Cheyenne Lewis, Cameron C. Chapman, Cole Chapman and Mavrick Scarlet; two sisters, Mary E. Light of Summit Point, WV and Shirley A. Welty of Pennsylvania; and two brothers, Howard L. Ware, Jr. of Delaware and Page W. Ware of Idaho. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town, WV with Rev.

Warren Frederick officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P. M. prior to the service. A light refreshment picnic will be held following the service at Jefferson Memorial Park, Charles Town.

Food is welcome. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Dorothy I. Ware, c/o Trina L. Dunn, 50 S. Childs Rd. , Kearneysville, WV 25430.
