OBITUARY Dorothy J. Kittrell November 10, 1926 – October 21, 2018 Dorothy J Kittrell 91 Arlington TX Passed peacefully on Sunday, Oct 21st, 2018 at home. A special thanks to the kind, compassionate care she received from her Vitas hospice Team along with private caretaker, Gloria McClain. Born in Denison, TX to Ike and Della May Seymour on Nov 10th, 1926.

Married Kenneth A Kittrell, Oct 28th, 1944. Together they raised 4 children. She is survived by son, Kenneth R Kittrell and his wife Suzanne of Alvord TX, son Dwayne Kittrell and wife Susan of Katy TX and daughter Lanell Kittrell-Steele and husband Jim Steele of Arlington TX and cherished sister, June Chandler, of Claude TX.

She was blessed with grandchildren Jerry Petrey, Richard Kittrell, Tommy Kittrell, Jennifer Kittrell and Clinton D Kittrell plus 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth a Kittrell, daughter, Jeannie Kittrell-Stover, brother, Grady Seymour, sisters, Juanita Johnson and Lois Sisk. After raising her children, Dorothy went to work for Arlington ISD.

Working in the cafeteria, she got to know and interact with many children making sure they had full tummy’s, even those that could not afford breakfast or lunch. She thoroughly enjoyed her 15 years of employment there and missed the children after retiring. Dedicated wife, loving mother, beautiful soul, she will be missed by all who have known her.
