OBITUARY Dorothy June Ridenour August 10, 1924 – October 14, 2018 Dorothy June Ridenour, 94, passed away on October 14th, 2018. Dorothy was born to Jacob and Thula Herr on August 10th, 1924 in Monticello, Indiana. She married her husband, James “Jim” Ridenour, on August 29th, 1942 and he preceded her in passing on April 14th, 2007.

Dorothy enjoyed flowers and gardening. She was also talented at sewing and made clothes for her children. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and loved to spend time with her family.

Dorothy will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Dorothy leaves behind her daughter, Diana Schacht; her son, Roger (Dale) Ridenour, of New York; her sisters Marge and Virginia; 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandson. Dorothy is preceded in passing by her parents, her husband, her son Mark Ridenour; and great-granddaughter Makayla Schacht.
