Cigler, age 92, longtime lakeshore resident, died early Saturday morning, January 5, 2019, at Hamilton Care Center, Two Rivers. Dorothy was born on February 22, 1926, in Two Rivers, a daughter of the late Arthur and Hattie (Radtke) Anderson. She graduated from Washington High School with the Class of 1944.

On July 3, 1947, she married John G. Cigler in Milwaukee, he preceded her in death on November 6, 2013. Dorothy was lifelong active member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church and was the bookkeeper at church for 13 years.

She enjoyed reading and doing crossword puzzles. Survivors include her children: David and Linda Cigler, Green Bay, Daniel and Jill Cigler, Manitowoc, Jane and A. Roger Stedl, Two Rivers, Mark Cigler, Manitowoc and John Cigler, Jr., Milwaukee; nine grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. She is further survived by two brothers: James Anderson, Two Rivers and Jerome Anderson, Green Bay; and three sisters: Arlene Fairley, West Virginia, Lois (Richard) Juul, Oconomowoc and Gail Stoer, Two Rivers; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a brother: David Anderson; a sister: Ruth (Francis) Lodel; a brother-in-law: George Fairley and a granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3607 45th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev.

David Arndt with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Hwy 310, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends the church on Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
