OBITUARY Dorothy Mae (King) Trinkle October 7, 1922 – December 28, 2018 Dorothy Mae (King) Trinkle, 96 years of age entered eternal rest December 28th, 2018. Dorothy was born October 7, 1922 in Jeffersonville, Indiana to the late Charles “Chod” and Eathel (Pennington) King and was the widow of John R. Trinkle Sr. who died in 1976. She was retired as a central services technician with Floyd Memorial Hospital after 23 years of service.

In more recent years, she volunteered at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Graceland Baptist Church. A devoted member of Graceland Baptist Church she enjoyed worshiping and spending time with her many bible study friends. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 36 years John Trinkle Sr., sister JoAnn Potts and devoted daughter Sharon Boaz.

She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include: Two sons; Robert “Bob” Trinkle Sr. (Lore), John Trinkle Jr. (Jill), and son-in-law Steward Boaz. Eight grandchildren; Joe (Gina), Chuck Walker (Gina), Emily, Robert Jr. (Paig), Norah (Scott), Kasey (Ryan), Katie (Eric) and Zachary (Madeline).

Also Ten Great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and two nephews and a niece. Visitation will be at Kraft Funeral Service 2776 Charlestown Rd. Wednesday January 2nd, from from 12:00 noon until her Service at 6:00 pm in the Kraft Charlestown Rd.

Chapel. Burial will be held at 10:00 am Thursday January 3rd, at Kay’s Chapel Cemetery in Fredericksburg, Indiana. Expressions of sympathy to Kay’s Chapel Perpetual Care Fund or Graceland Baptist Church.
