Dorothy Mae (McAuley) Wolfe, 93, of Adrian, died Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot. She was born Oct. 13, 1924, in Adrian to the late Ira and Elsie (Wolfe) McAuley.

Dorothy worked for her uncle, Emanuel Wolfe, in his law office in Pittsburgh. She was a lifelong member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian, where she was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Cheerful Givers Class. She was also active with Town and Country Lutheran Ministry, and liked to scrapbook.

Survivors include her son John “Lenny” Wolfe Jr. and wife, Sally, of Fenelton; daughter Juanita Pratkanis and husband, Rich, of Kittanning; grandsons Tim Wolfe and wife, Kris, of East Brady, Dan Wolfe and wife, Jennifer, of Walk Chalk, Kevin Wolfe and wife, Leigh, of Fenelton, Kirk Hooks and wife, Tanya, of Kittanning; great-grandchildren Christian, Abby, Cole, Matt, Emily, McKenzie, Cora, Easton, Halle, Adam, Logan; special friends Larry and Ann Kline of Adrian; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Wolfe, Sr., who passed away in 2003; daughter-in-law Cora Wolfe who passed away in 1980; and sister Lottie Lash. Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home in Kittanning.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Friday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Adrian where there will be additional visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of the service with Rev. Carl Johnson officiating. Interment will be in St. Marks’ Lutheran Church Cemetery in Adrian.
