She was a homemaker and member of the Westminster Chapel in Nashville, TN. She enjoyed memberships in the P.E.O. Sisterhood, the DAR, CDXVIIC, Southern Dames, the General Society of Mayflower Descendants, and NSDAC. In addition to her parents Mrs. Pouder was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keith Pouder and her brother, Hugh Russell Dorris, Jr

Mrs. Pouder is survived by her daughter, Lealan Doris Pouder LaRoche and husband, William Walter LaRoche, III; grandchildren, Keith Alexander LaRoche and wife Alix, William Nicholas LaRoche and wife, Madison, and Lealan Dorothy Marie LaRoche Sims and husband, Daniel; and great-grandchildren, Dorothy Rose LaRoche, Albert Cosmos LaRoche and one more on the way.
