Obituary for Carol Ogg Nancy “Carol” Ogg, age 65, of Pleasant View, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock pm, Friday, September 7th, at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Gene Brown and Bro.
Tom Payne officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Alec Wimmer, Bobby Ogg, III, Johnny Schaadt, Isaac Bourne, Brian Albright, Matthew Turner, and Bryson Albright serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00PM Thursday, September 7th, and again on Friday beginning at 11:00AM until the hour of service at 1:00 PM.
Carol was born on October 13, 1952 in Clarksville, Tennessee to the late Ferrell and Nancy Ruth Head Elliott. She was a Phlebotomist with LabCorp serving at the Village Primary Care in Pleasant View. She was a member of Stroudsville Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant brother. Survivors include her son, Bobby (Amanda) Ogg, Jr.; daughter, Carla (Johnny) Schaadt; father of her children, Bobby Ogg, Sr.; sister, Glenda (Ewing) Albright; grandchildren, Alec (Madison) Wimmer, Brittney (Isaac) Bourne, Abigail, Allison, and Bobby, III Ogg; nephew, Brian (Christy) Albright and niece, Stacia (Matthew) Turner If so desired, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Stroudsville Church of Christ Educational Wing Building Fund. All donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View.
