Dorothy Terry Zelenka, 88, of Morehead City, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Carteret Health Care. Dorothy worked as an executive secretary with General Motors Acceptance Corporation for 37 years. She served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 3 years.

She was the past commander and life member of American Legion Post #53, member of Women Marine Association, co-chairman of the March of Dimes for 2 years, and a soloist at Memorial Day Services for 20 years in Ridgewood, NJ. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Morehead City where she was a choir member and Sunday School Teacher. She is survived by her brother, Robert G. Terry and wife Gladys of Arizona; nephew, Robert Terry; nieces, Cynthia Price and Sheryl Nolan; caregivers, David and Mattie Seaton; and sister-in-law, Grace Vann of Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James Zelenka; and her parents, Robert and Dorothy Terry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion at www. legion.org/donate Online condolences may be made at www.
