Obituary for Dorothy Wrenn Dorothy McDonald Horne Wrenn, 90, formerly of 136 Clifton Street, widow of Reuben W. Wrenn, died Monday, October 22, 2018 at NHC. Born in Greenwood, she was a daughter of the late Henry Otto McDonald, Sr. and Sarah Mitchell McDonald. She retired from Greenwood Mills and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George J. Horne; sisters, Jane Blasko and Josephine Jones; and brothers, Doug McDonald, Henry Otto McDonald, Jr., Hiram McDonald, Charles McDonald, Billy McDonald, Bobby McDonald and Thomas McDonald. She is survived by her children, Billy Horne and Carolyn Latham (Randy), both of Greenwood; a brother, Wayne McDonald (Simone) of Hilton Head Island; sisters-in-law, Peggy McDonald of North Carolina, Betty McDonald of Greenwood, Beth McDonald and Florence McDonald, both of Toccoa, GA and Doris Ann McDonald of High Point, NC; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev.

Amy Laye officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorials be made to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648.
