Obituary for Doug Schwartz, Jr. Doug Schwartz, Jr. Doug Schwartz, Jr., 53, of Orange, Texas, passed away in Beaumont, Texas. Born in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, on July 22, 1965, he was the son of Doug Schwartz, Sr. and Annette Schwartz. Doug graduated from East St. John High School and went on the serve his country in the United States Army.

After the Army, he attended Lamar Institute of Technology in Beaumont, Texas and graduated with a degree in Instrumentation. Doug worked as an electrician for 13 loyal years with Jefferson Electric. He was a member of IBEW, enjoyed the outdoors, watching sports, and playing golf.

Doug adored his grandchildren and loved spending time with them as often as he could. He loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Those left to cherish Doug’s memory include his parents, Doug and Annette Schwartz; his loving wife, Amanda Schwartz; children, Douglas Schwartz, III and partner Lindsey Arthur, of Mauriceville, Erica Faust and husband James, of Beaumont, and Jared Trosclair and wife Kristi, of Orange; grandchildren, Halynn and Cason Trosclair; and his siblings, Craig Schwartz and girlfriend LaDonna Schartz and Laurie Fisher and Bob Fisher.
