Doug’s Obituary WARNER, James Douglas, “Doug”, age 71 of Butler Twp. , passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born March 9, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late James and Winifred (Gardner) Warner.

Doug was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time outdoors. He loved hanging out with his friends at the VFW Post #6560, and watching sporting events on TV including the Buckeyes, Bengals and NASCAR. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Barb, Doug is survived by two daughters, Debra (Dave) Lopez of NY and Traci (Bob) Gorman of KY; his brother, Scott (Dusty) Warner; four grandchildren, Andrew Lopez, Eric (Heather) Peterson, Courtney Gorman and Bobby Gorman; three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Treyton and Emma; niece, Shannon Dixon (Jeremy); along with numerous other relatives and good friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12 from 4-7 pm at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
