Obituary for Douglas Bruce “Doug” Grant Print Grant, Douglas Bruce age 64, of Eden Prairie passed away peacefully February 2nd, 2019 after a brief hospital stay. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Grant; mother-in-law Lucille Shockey; and father-in-law Kenneth Shockey. He is survived by his mother Elaine Grant; wife of 43 years Vicki Grant; his two sons, Daniel (Tamzyn) and Stephen; three grandchildren, Sienna, Kade and Kean; brother Steve (Pam) Grant; brothers-in-law Fred (Helen), Gary (Robin), Kim (Amy); and many special nieces and nephews.
He was a committed family man and made a positive impact in his community through service. A celebration of his life will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 13600 Technology Drive, Eden Prairie on February 9th, 2019. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by a service at 3:00 pm.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association and St. Andrew Handbell & Camping Ministries. Many thanks to nurses and doctors of Fairview Southdale and the University of Minnesota Medical Center Cardio ICU for their compassionate care during his stay.
