Obituary for Douglas Eugene Kerr Age 62, of Pine City, NY was born January 26, 1962 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Arthur E. and Elizabeth J. (Seymour) Kerr; passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. Doug is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pat (Dailey) Kerr; beloved children: Douglas “Bub” (Katlyn) Kerr of Elmira, NY; Judi Kerr of Aston, PA; adored grandchildren: Alivia, Colton and Karter; Shane and Joey; siblings: Rodney (Faye) Kerr of Caton, NY; Carol Burnham of Elmira, NY; Arthur (Julie) Kerr of Pine City, NY; Barbara (Paul) Daniels of Pine City, NY; Nancy (Russell) Purvis of Lowman, NY; Susan (Ronald) Stanton of Elmira, NY; Robert (Kathy) Kerr of Deltona, FL; along with several nieces, nephews. Doug was a dedicated employee of John Mills Electric for 19 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting. He was a huge NASCAR fan and Martin Truex Jr. (his choice to win the Championship this year) was his favorite driver. Above all, Doug was a loving husband, father, Pa Pa, brother, uncle and friend.

Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira/Southport, NY on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Funeral services honoring his life will follow the visitation at 4 pm. Lay Pastor John P. Knapp will officiate.
