Obituary of Dr. Clifford Linkous Dr. Clifford Madison Linkous, age 74, of Morgantown, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Clifford was born in Logan, WV on October 30, 1943, a son of the late Clayton and Louise Amos Linkous. Clifford owned his own oral and maxillofacial surgery office in Morgantown, Fairmont and Elkins, which he ran for many years.

In his spare time, Clifford enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, and was also avid in working Sudoku puzzles. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather who will be deeply missed. Clifford is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary Susan Tinsley Linkous; his sons, Eugene Allen Linkous and wife Theresa of Kansas, Tim Rhein Linkous and wife Kendra of Morgantown, Clifford Madison Linkous, Jr. of Morgantown, and Brian Michael Linkous of Morgantown; sister, Peggy Cappellanti; brothers, Dr. Clayton Linkous, Jr., Dr. Tom Linkous, and Dr. Dan Linkous; and grandchildren, Mason Linkous, Tyler Linkous, Reagan Linkous, Harrison Linkous, and Kennedy Linkous.

In honoring Clifford’s wishes, McCulla Funeral Home has provided cremation services. In lieu of flowers, the Linkous family asks that donations be made to the Mountaineer Food Bank at 484 Enterprise Drive, Gassaway, WV 26624. Friends may gather at McCulla Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 5:30pm until the 7:30 pm memorial service with his son, Tim Linkous officiating.
