Obituary of Glenn Miller Glenn F. Miller Jr. age 62 of Rivesville went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 2, 2018 with his family and friends by his side. Glenn was born March 11, 1956 to the late Glenn F. Miller Sr. and Barbara J. Fulk Miller. Glenn is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Joan, one son Tristan Miller Wierbonski of Morgantown, one brother Gary Miller and wife Barbara Miller of Arnettsville, and two sisters, Vickey Hoyle and husband Rodney of Granville and Debbie Hall and husband Doug of Granville.

Glenn is also survived and loved by three generations of niece and nephews. Glenn’s memories will continue to live on with special family friends, James Trivett, Robbie Hughes, Ellen “Bootsie” and Taylor Heinze, Connie McCray, Chuck Lemley, Dave & Donna Jones, and Bryan Hilling. Glenn was a member of the Hagans Christian Church where he enjoyed participating in many things, especially going to concerts and meeting the News Boys with his church family.

Glenn retired from Lowes after being with the company for twenty years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed attending races with his dad, cheering on Jeff Gordon. Glenn also enjoyed woodworking, bowling, golfing and many other activities but his favorite activity was spending time with family and friends.

One of Glenn’s greatest joys was hearing about Tristan’s success coaching soccer. Glenn was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin R. Miller, his father and mother-in-law Charles B. Lemley and Martha C. Lemley sister and brother-in-law, Jim and Dottie Jones, one nephew, Jim Jones Jr., brother-in-law William Mincher, nephew, William Mincher Jr., and his special canine companions, Sassy and Coco. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Amedisys Hospice Care of Anmoore, Connie & Arthur McCray, Rae Mincher and Timara Mincher for the love and care given to Glenn and to his son Tristan for all the special Monday Lunch dates.

Friends may call at the McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Road, Morgantown from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, Tuesday and at the Hagans Christian Church on Wednesday from 11:00 am until the noon funeral service with James Trivett and Pastor Isaac Harmon officiating. Burial will follow at Beverly Hills Cemetery.
