Drew A. Wierman, 71, Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Cecil P. and Margaret J. (Snyder) Wierman. Surviving are his wife, Patricia A. (Pavelko) of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Trista M. Pfeiffenberger and husband, David, in North Carolina; a son, Wesley of Hollidaysburg; and three grandchildren: Braden, Abigail and Ryan.

Drew was a graduate of Central High School and then graduated from West Virginia University in 1969, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in education. He was owner of Wierman Furniture in Hollidaysburg, and formerly served on the board of the American Red Cross. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hollidaysburg.

Drew was a pilot in his early years. He enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family.
